Grimail Crawford not only teaches GIS courses authorized by the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), but also is routinely approached to develop custom courses for various disciplines. Our unique experience in the area provides our clients with direct hands-on training without having to send individuals out of state or out of the office, saving them time and money. Mary Stallings, an ESRI-authorized instructor since 1998, is one of few such instructors in the Tampa Bay Area. She has taught over 100 GIS-related courses both within the United States and abroad. In addition to her ESRI authorization, she served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, teaching the fourth-year level Advanced GIS course. Over the years, the Grimail Crawford team has proudly offered the following training courses: |

User Needs Development Program
Florida DOT, District 7
Grimail Crawford participated in a district-wide User Needs Assessment for the Florida Department of Transportation. This 5-month project identified the client’s GIS needs by describing the programmatic responsibilities and the information products required to support those responsibilities. The assessment illustrated areas of opportunity to integrate the client’s GIS needs into an overall enterprise GIS development effort. The assessment led to the creation of four broad strategies to incorporate into a District component of the FDOT’s enterprise GIS. |
